Greg Chilina is an attorney for and shareholder of Chilina Law Firm, a Professional Corporation, focusing on general business law and corporate governance, non-profit corporations, real property and land use and water rights, probate, and trust litigation. Prior to forming Chilina Law Firm, Greg gained extensive business knowledge and experience by working in business banking and lending for nearly 20 years.

Greg’s general business law practice ranges in scope from business and entity formation to general business advisement, corporate governance, as well as business dissolution. With Greg’s business law background, Greg has successfully represented several Central Coast businsess in litigation matters, drafted complex business contracts, and negotiated several purchases and sales of businesses and business assets. Greg has also been able to assist several non-profit organizations to remedy issues which are unique to non-profit organizations. 

Greg’s real property and land use and water rights practice focuses on the individual land owner and the various issues which arise from land ownership and use.  Greg has successfully represented several Central Coast land owners in litigation matters related to their land, including boundary and water issues. 

Greg also practices in the areas and probate and trust litigation. Greg has successfully represented trustees, executors and personal representatives, and beneficiaries and heirs with the various issues that arise with probating an estate and trust administration. 

Greg earned his Juris Doctorate from Concord Law School in Los Angeles, California. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon in December 1995.  He is a member of the San Luis Obispo County Bar Association and is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Central District of California. Greg is passionate about the law.  He is charismatic and extremely loyal to his clients. Greg provides the same high quality work, dedication, and diligence to large and small cases alike. Greg places high value on his relationships with his clients and makes it a priority to keep the client informed during the entire process. He believes that open communication is essential for a satisfactory resolution of any matter. 

Greg lives in Atascadero, California with his wife and son where he enjoys surfing, backpacking, and camping. Greg also volunteers his time and provides pro bono legal services for other various philanthropic non-profit organizations on the Central Coast.
